Many people think Property Developers are only those businesses that build large housing estates.
This is far from the truth, as ‘Property Developers’ includes businesses who build all sizes of developments as well as property flips (i.e. a property which is rundown but could be worth a lot more with some money and work being spent on it). It also includes such other items as converting commercial property into residential - so it doesn’t just cover new developments.
Whilst Property Developers have not been hit quite as hard by the taxman as Property Investors have, they still face a multitude of other issues which have been around a lot longer.
